UI Updates
-
Mosaic view has been decommissioned. The Content gallery will still remember user selections for layout (the last used layout choice) and will otherwise default to Grid view.
-
The Match Any/All toggle using the magnifying glass icon in the search bar has been replaced with the And/Or toggle.
- Using the "AND" option returns search results based on matches to all keywords and filters applied to the search.
- Using the "OR" option returns results that match any of the search terms and filters applied.
-
For all screens with metadata entry options, resolved an issue that displayed overlapping dropdown values when the text was too long and the browser zoom was set to 80% or less.
-
Resolved an issue on the Collections page where the loading indicator would not display when loading the next 50 collections when the browser zoom was set to less than 90%.
-
Resolved an issue on the Collections page where replacing the collection preview with a file that exceeded the maximum file size did not display an error message indicating that collection preview files cannot exceed 25MB.
-
On the Admin > Security > Users screen, replaced the Last Activity date column with the user's Contact data.
-
Updated several pages to properly open new browser tabs when using keyboard shortcuts, whether the user is on a Mac or PC.
-
Resolved an issue where deleted assets (deleted but not purged) were showing up in duplicates. Deleted assets will no longer count as duplicates.
-
Resolved an issue in the Admin > Metadata > Templates screen where the values for large vocabularies were cut off when setting default metadata values
-
Updated the Manage Collections dialog to improve the experience of users without the Shared Collections privilege who are adding assets to, or removing them from, collections.
Asset Storage: Bring Your Own Bucket (BYOB)
-
Enhancements were made to the platform that allow customers to use an AWS S3 storage bucket that is hosted in any of the following AWS regions:
- US East (Ohio) / (Northern Virginia)
- US West (Oregon) / (Northern California)
- Asia Pacific (Singapore) / (Sydney) / (Seoul) / (Mumbai)
- Canada (Central)
- Europe (Ireland) / (London) / (Frankfurt) / (Paris)
API Updates
-
A new API endpoint is now available. This new endpoint, /security/groups, allows API consumers to retrieve a listing of all security groups configured in the system, regardless of the groups the API user is a part of.
-
Endpoints other than Search operations have been updated to return default values for metadata attributes when default values are configured on the metadata template.
📝 Note: API users must have the User Management role privilege to use this endpoint. Refer to the API documentation for more info.
Privilege & Permission Updates
-
The Private Saved Search role privilege has been removed. All users now have the ability to create a saved search that is private.
-
Resolved an issue where the Download All button on the Cart page was showing up even if the user did not have Download permission.
In cases where the user only has permission to download a portion of the assets in their Cart, the Download All action will now alert the user to the number of assets they will be able to download.
Tiles
- Tiles on the Home page were updated to require an image during their creation or update. Images cannot be removed from tiles, however they can be replaced. The Tile Image field is now required by the system.
Metadata Administration Updates
- Dropdown (vocabulary) metadata attributes that are set to Multi-Select attributes can no longer be changed to single select.
